Santorini

Santorini, famous for its white-washed, blue-roofed architecture, picture-perfect seaside villages, stunning sunsets, beautiful beaches and delicious wine, is a favorite destination for honeymooners. We will book a luxurious suite or villa for you, with views to the caldera of Santorini and a private infinity pool or hot tub if you wish.

You might choose to renew your vows on the balcony of a traditional cave chapel with sweeping views of the sea as your backdrop. Then, spend some time reflecting on your commitment to each other as you take a romantic walk through a hidden paradise we have discovered and will be happy to share with you. Experience a picnic spread with local delicacies including a bottle of one of the best local wines, cheeses, dried tomatoes, olives, and other seasonal delicacies as you watch the sunset. Santorini is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Nafplio

Another one for romantics, Nafplio in the Peloponnese is a magical, lovely little town with an interesting history. This sweet, seaside town is one of the most beautiful towns in the area of Argolis (in eastern Peloponnese) as well as one of the most romantic cities all over Greece. Nafplio was the first capital of the newly born Greek state between 1823 and 1834. Today, it will charm you with its small squares, vine-covered neoclassical homes, and the beautiful waterfront which is the perfect place to take a romantic stroll and enjoy dinner at a scenic restaurant overlooking the beautifully-lit ‘Palamidi’ castle.

Monemvasia

If you are looking to avoid the crowds, Monemvasia may be more your flavor. It’s much more low-key than some of the other destinations on our list, but not any less desirable. When you first step foot into the old medieval castle town, you’ll be transported to another time with numerous historic buildings lining narrow, stone streets. The town is also the perfect location for exploring the nearby area which is known for numerous hiking trails, secluded beaches, snorkeling, and historic sites, which are rarely crowded. In the evening, wind down with your special someone over delicious local food and wine in one of the town’s classy restaurants.

Spetses

Easily accessible from Athens, Spetses might as well be a world away with its laid-back vibe and natural beauty. The island has a number of lovely boutique hotels and is ringed with quiet, secluded beaches that you might even have all to yourself. All of this seclusion doesn’t mean you’ll have to miss out on the nightlife, there are plenty of cool places to have a cocktail or enjoy a stylish night out on the town. It makes a good jumping-off point for exploring other nearby islands such as world-famous Hydra or embarking on a sailing trip around the Saronic Gulf. For the ultimate romantic finish to your day, book a horse-drawn carriage to take you for a ride around the beautiful harbor – it’s sure to make for a lasting memory of your honeymoon in Greece.

Milos

If you are hoping to get away to an island that feels authentic and untouched for your honeymoon in Greece, Milos may be the right choice for you. You won’t find the island crowded, but the beaches are numerous and are some of the best in Greece. The island has incredibly unique rock formations that you’ll be able to enjoy on a sea kayaking tour or a speed boat cruise to interesting caves and coves. The towns along the island’s coast are perfect for picturesque walks and when it comes to food, you’ll be spoilt for choice as there are endless places where you can sit down to a delicious meal and a glass of wine. You can also visit the lovely nearby island of Sifnos, known as a haven for foodies, with a ferry connection from Milos.

Naxos

Naxos is an exciting option for adventurous honeymooners. You’ll find spectacular scenery, beautiful villages, centuries-old Byzantine churches, interesting archeological sites, and endless sandy beaches such as Agia Anna, Plaka, Kastraki, ‘Hawaii’ and Mikri Vigla. With an active main town where you can shop and admire the Venetian architecture and Kastro (castle) area, the island also offers opportunities from hiking the highest Cycladic summit, windsurfing in turquoise waters, to stretches where you can enjoy hip beats and cool crowds.

It’s also easy to add on a trip to the neighboring island of cosmopolitan Paros which is only a short ferry ride away.
